ABOUT FREEDOM 61
Our mission at Freedom 61 is to provide women with opportunities to experience complete transformation. This takes place in the form of retreats, mentorships, small groups, and resources provided on our website to assist their healing journey.
The second half of our mission is to bring an end to sexual violence. We believe raising awareness is a vital part in ending sexual violence. We provide workshops to educate parents, educators, church leaders and volunteers, and the community on behaviors associated with sexual violence and prevention strategies. We also provide informational brochures as a resource for parents and the community to understand what sexual abuse is, strategies on how to keep children safe, and how to have these conversations with children.

There are 43 million adult survivors of sexual abuse in the United States.
Approximately 436,000 Americans twelve years old and over are victimized per year.
"You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position to save the lives of many people." (Genesis 50:20)
Every nine minutes in the United States, a child becomes a victim of sexual violence.
One in ten children will be the victim of sexual violence before the age of eighteen.
"... he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captives, open prisons to those who are bound... to give beauty for ashes, oil of joy for mounting, garment of praise for spirit of heaviness..." (Isaiah 61:1-3)

ABOUT REBECCA HOPKINS
Founder of Freedom 61
Rebecca resides in Hixson, TN with her husband, Erik. They have two children, Nathan and Laela, who are her greatest joy. Rebecca is a member of Redemption to the Nations church. While serving on the ladies board a passion was ignited in her to see broken women experience freedom, healing, and restoration. In 2014, the Lord asked Rebecca to surrender her own brokenness, from childhood abuse, and that set her on a journey to true healing and freedom. This journey is where Freedom 61 was birthed. As well as where the calling was established to bring freedom and restoration to women and for them to walk in their God given purpose and identity.
MEET THE BOARD
LISA HILL
Lisa Hill resides in Ooltewah, TN. She is enjoying retirement after many years in the corporate world. Her background is in Human Resources, Accounting, Research and Publications. Lisa loves spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her favorite title is “Nana”! Lisa is passionate about her faith and service to her Lord. She is currently serving on the Freedom 61 Board and the Women's Ministries Board at her church.
KIMBERLY LARA
CHRISTINA STONE
Christina Stone lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She is a member of Redemption to
the Nations Church and is currently managing a Marriott hotel chain in Chattanooga.
Christina has a heart for the nations. She has been preaching the gospel to the nations
for over 25 years. She lived in Romania with her family, sharing the Gospel with the
local community and partnering with the schools to bring awareness to Human
Trafficking. Her desire is to see people healed, delivered, and set free by the Power of
Jesus.
VICKIE BASHAM
Vickie Basham and her husband, Jim, are active members of Redemption to the
Nations Church in Chattanooga, TN. They currently serve as Elders and in other
outreaches that promote discipleship & evangelism. They are full time professional Real
Estate Agents, and credits their success to God’s grace & favor. Vickie and Jim labor
together both in the church and marketplace to make a difference to those who are lost,
hurting & hopeless. The biggest blessing is being Papa and Nonna to their five beautiful
grandchildren, Tristan, Cadence, Willow, Jaxon and Indy who all live in Greenville, SC.
